One Hundred Pushups

A co-worker of mine sent me a link to this website, hundredpushups.com. He said he had came across it while taking a break at work, and actually gave it a try. After the 6 week period, he was amazing with the results.

After just 6 short weeks of doing pushups 3 days a week, he as amazed with the results. While he said he was barely able to get 100 pushups, he still managed to complete them. That said, I decided to give it a try.

After doing the initial test, and according to the workout plan, I was able to start in week 3, since I was able to do about 23 pushups. The next day, after my initial workout with onehundredpushups, I was sore……sore like I had been to the gym for about 2 hours the day before. I continued on with my workouts for the remaining 3 weeks after the first, and, like my friend, shocked by the results. I to, was just barely able to rockout 100 pushups in a single sitting. My arms felt much harder and more dense then before, and I could tell my triceps were much stronger and toned than before. I know it sounds too good to be true, like everything else, but I am telling it WORKS!

Why does it work you say? Its just pushups, right? According to Adam Feldman, a personal trainer from Nanuet, NY, “The exercise is regarded as the ultimate measure of physical fitness for a reason: In order to lift your entire body weight, you need to engage almost every major muscle group – the arms, chest, abs, hips and legs…..” Pushups should be a part of every check or upper body workout you do. They provide numerous benefits, and combination movements a bench press or sit up simply cannot match.

If you think you have what it takes, take a venture over to hundredpushups.com and see if you can complete the 6 week challenge like I did….I dare you!
